December 6, 2017
11:15am – 1:30pm
Lecture Room 407
Featured Event of the Brownfields 2017 Economic Redevelopment Forum
Our projects have begun developing their pitches with the support of lifeguards so don’t miss out on the chance to see them compete!
***Note: Lunch is not provided so please plan accordingly.***
This is an opportunity for brownfield-impacted communities to present their projects and compete for prizes! Projects which demonstrate a creative re-use vision, broad community engagement and support, diverse partnerships, and potential for a dynamic presentation will be matched with teams of Lifeguards to receive additional expertise and advice in the preparation of their pitch to the Sharks.
Each project will present to a panel of Sharks, experts in brownfields, marketing, and finance as part of the Economic Redevelopment Forum. Sharks will ask questions, offer suggestions for investment opportunities, and select the winner of the Shark Bait Award!
Introducing the Sharks:
Jill Gaito, Gaito & Associates
Randall Jostes, Environmental Liability Transfer
Michael Pehur, Duane Morris Government Strategies
Matt Ward, Sustainable Strategies DC
